Senior Officer Justin Aronson
Post Advisor
Senior Officer Justin Aronson was appointed by the chief of police as the advisor to Explorer Post 609 in September of 2006. Officer Aronson is a US Air Force veteran and was a member of Explorer Post 609 for several years. He is a member of the department's Special Response Unit and he is a field training officer. Officer Aronson is currently assigned to the Special Enforcement Team.

Master Officer Todd Collier
Master Officer Todd Collier is an associate advisor to the post. He also is a former member of Explorer Post 609, joining when he was 14 years old. Prior to becoming a police officer in 2003, Collier worked as a police records specialist and a police booking technician. Master Officer Collier is also a Field Training Officer and he is currently assigned to the Special Operations Division - Traffic Section.

Surveillance Technician Gerry Landrum
Technician Landrum is an associate advisor to the post. He is a civilian electronic surveillance specialist assigned to the departments Tactical Investigations Unit. Technician Landrum also served for 11 years as an auxiliary officer with the department.

Forensic Investigator Judy McCartney is an associate advisor to the post. Investigator McCartney was a member of Explorer Post 609 in her youth and she is a former emergency communications officer for the county.
