Officer First Class Justin Aronson
Post Advisor
Officer 1st Class Justin Aronson was appointed by the chief of police as the advisor to Explorer Post 609 in September of 2006. Officer Aronson is a US Air Force veteran and was a member of Explorer Post 609 for several years. He is a member of the department's Special Response Unit and he is a field training officer. Officer Aronson is currently assigned to the Special Enforcement Team.
Associate Advisor
Master Officer Todd Collier
Master Officer Todd Collier is an associate advisor to the post. He also is a former member of Explorer Post 609, joining when he was 14 years old. Prior to becoming a police officer in 2003, Collier worked as a police records specialist and a police booking technician. Master Officer Collier is also a Field Training Officer and he is currently assigned to the North Midnight Shift out of Midlothian Station.
Associate Advisor
Mr. Gerry Landrum
Mr. Gerry Landrum is an associate advisor to the post. He served as a volunteer auxiliary officer for 11 years with the department and is currently employed full-time by the Police Department as an electronic surveillance technician in the Tactical Investigations Unit.
